I got my new California driver’s license in the mail today. I was going to post a picture of it but I decided that wouldn’t be the best idea. It’s kind of weird because Sarah didn’t get hers. But then again, she got her voter registration card a week ago and I have yet to get mine.
In other news, Lisa is coming to visit over the holiday weekend. Sarah is going to pick her up at the airport tomorrow at 8:30 in the morning. Visitors are cool (hint, hint, family members and supposed friends).
I’ve been working a lot of overtime lately. Not necessarily because I need to, but because I can. In 6 weeks my “training” program will be over and I will go from being an hourly employee to salary. Plus I have plenty to do there so it’s not like I’m sitting up there bored. Also, since Sarah has kind of a long commute, it usually works out to where we get home around the same time if I stay late.

   Now it is time for my DC Gazala review. I play on a server that has a modded map. More choppers and more migs. As I was playing today as opposition I got sick of all my teammates whinning and crying about the wussy 50 cal snipers camped on the ridges overlooking our hanger. I had already knifed 2 and ran over 1 with a truck and was just in to big a hurry to sneak around them. I decided that where the intellect of my mates failed I must jump in and pick up the slack. I bunny hopped across the airfield and jumped in a shilka and what do ya know, snipers show up as blips on radar. I then proceeded to trace the ridge lines and feed the snipers and healthy clip of shilka rounds. This took a total of about 7 seconds and after I killed them 5 of my teammates with 50 cals grew some and started to leave the hanger. They all badmouthed the snipers too like they had something to do with bringing them down. I then jumped in a truck and headed for the abandond allied airfield for my beloved HM-500 (opposition Littlebird). Why do I prefer this over any other chopper? Light, manuverable, and 1000 rounds of tankbusting bullets from a gun that never overheats unlike the OH-6 and AH-6 that does (coalition littlebirds). You can shred anything in the HM-500 all while being just out of stinger range. In DC their only enemy is the fighter jets. When I am flag raping with this bad boy and I hear a jet and bullets hit me I know that missiles are on their way so I tilt at an angle to change my flight path, give it full rudder and hit the gas. You end up spinning unpredictably up beyond the fighters surface cieling surface cieling and out of range. In effect you dissapear. On the way to get my HM-500 I kept getting killed by this AH-6 that was hovering somewhere over the airfield waiting for us unsuspecting opposition players to go for free planes. I got pretty frustrated, So frustrated that I did something I don’t usually do. I jumped in a mig. I normally don’t even try the fighter planes because I thought I wasn’t very good at it but this time was a special occassion, vengeance. After owning the wussy AH-6 whore I thought I would use the mig to taxi to the next outpost before I got shot down when I saw blips on my radar and thought ah what the hell. I owned in the mig today. there was some idiot in an F-16 who was flying low to the ground to the airfield. Flying low is for choppers and bombers not fighters. After owning him too I went on a mig induced killing spree. I had 0 kills and 3 deaths when I started but after jumping in the mig I finished out at 11 and 3. You know you are doing good when you see planes start hunting specifically just for you. Own bait is all I saw and burning rubble drifting towards the ground. I played el alamein next as coalition and again got sick of my tmates whining about scud attacks on our spawn. They tried bomber, fighters, and apaches and cried cuz they couldn’t get past the SAM sites to kill it. Again littlebird saves the day. Go up beyond the cieling of fighters and SAMs and when you are over their spawn on the minimap you aim for the ground and let the heli fall. Before too long their base will materialize through the fog and you’ll see the scud. Use those miniguns to kill it and problem solved. Tears shed? Zero. Sometimes I hate this game because people won’t use their brains to own. Who’s the typasaurus now biatch?
