So, on Tuesday morning, Danny and I got up really early (8am) and drove an hour to Big Basin Redwoods State Park. It was established in 1902 and was the first state park in CA. Anyway, we both wanted to see some redwoods and this was the closest, largest park.

| This is one of the many trees we saw. Apparently, sometimes the center of the tree burns, leaving it hollowed out. The tree continues to grow despite the damage.
